Recurrent uti (urine infections) …

Urine infections are common, affecting both sexes and all ages from babies through to the elderly.

They typically cause symptoms such as burning / tingling on passing urine (dysuria), frequent and urgent need to pass urine, Pain in the bladder, fever and/or feeling generally unwell.

Whilst most ‘one off’ urine infections, are quickly & completely cured by a short course of antibiotics, some people experience a period of recurrent infections, where the same bacteria or a different bacteria appears shortly after the antibiotics finish.
